This week-long cycling holiday will take you to discover Cap Corse and its Genoese towers. You will meet on your route many Genoese towers, guardians of the coast. You start your route from Bastia with its beautiful citadel and cycle along the east coast on a beautiful coastal road. From Macinaggio, you cross the Cap Corse inland to reach the west coast, more wild and steep. Beautiful winding roads on the mountainside lead you to charming hilltop villages such as Canari or Nonza. You will admire the stunning panoramas on the steep cliffs plunging into the turquoise sea. Then, you continue to Saint-Florent, the "Corsican Saint-Tropez", where you can enjoy a lively evening before cycling back to Bastia.

    Day 1

    Arrival in Bastia

Welcome to Bastia, capital of northern Corsica! You will be charmed by this colorful and lively city. Take the time to stroll into the narrow streets of the Genoese Citadel and enjoy a coffee on the quays of the Old Port.

    Day 2

    Bastia - Sisco

You start your holiday with a short first stage. Leave Bastia and discover the Cap Corse along a beautiful coastal road. We advise you to stop for a few moments in Erbalunga, a beautiful little fishing village admired by painters. You end your day in Sisco.

    Day 3

    Sisco - Macinaggio

Continue your journey north along the coast. Enjoy the scenic views over the Mediterranean Sea and a refreshing swim in one of the many wild coves in the area. You spend the night in Macinaggio and its charming marina.

    Day 4

    Macinaggio - Canari

Your day begins with an ascent from the port of Macinaggio to the mill of Mattei. On your way, do not miss a stop at the Rogliano point of view from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the tip of Cap Corse and the island of Giraglia.

Then, you continue on the west coast of Cap Corse, much more hilly and winding than the east coast. Here the landscapes are wilder, the steep cliffs fall into the water offering a breathtaking scenery! We recommend a small detour to Centuri, a charming little fishing port famous for its lobsters and very popular with celebrities in summer. Your day ends in Canari, a pretty little hilltop village.

    Day 5

    Canari - Saint-Florent

Continue your way south along the Gulf of Saint-Florent. You reach Nonza and its large and beautiful black pebble beach bordering the turquoise sea. The village on the mountainside overlooks the beach with its beautiful Paoline tower.

Then, the landscapes begin to change and give way to limestone mountains and vineyards. You end your day at Saint-Florent, a charming little harbor surrounded by the mountains of Cap Corse and nicknamed "the Corsican Saint-Tropez". Enjoy your evening to stroll in the lively streets of the citadel.

    Day 6

    Saint-Florent - Bastia

You leave the coastal landscapes of Saint-Florent to cross the Serra di Pigno and reach Bastia. Stop at the picturesque village of Patrimonio known for its organic vineyards. Then, you cycle up to the Col de Teghime (536m) where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf of Saint-Florent and the Desert des Agriates. Finally continue your route toward Bastia and the sea on beautiful downhill roads and enjoy your last evening on the island!
