Day 1 |

Let’s go for an adventure! Dinant, the small Ardennes town, is your starting point and is full of numerous tourist attractions. Take the time to admire the colorful houses on the banks of the Meuse, to discover its Merveilleuse cave, without forgetting its citadel, accessible by cable car or, for the more courageous, via some 408 steps.
Have fun spotting the many decorated saxophones scattered throughout Dinant in honor of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone and native of the city, before getting on your bike.

Day 2 |

Get onto your bike for a perfect adventure! Dinant is your starting point and you will find plenty of activities to enjoy there. Take the time to admire the colourful houses located on the banks of the Meuse river, explore its captivating cave or visit the citadel.
Before riding, pay attention to the numerous well-decorated saxophones all around Dinant, where the inventor Adolphe Sax was born. You ride slightly upwards along the natural reserve of Leffe and reach Ciney, a well-known city for its beer.
Cycle through picturesque roads and cross small charming hamlets and a well-preserved nature before reaching Rochefort, your stop for the night. Enjoy a delicious Trappist beer in the beautiful historical setting with the Comtal castle or the war memorial of the general Lafayette.

Day 3 |

|
It is time to reach Marche-en-Famenne and its well-preserved and lively city center! You can learn more about the history of the region with a side trip to the museum of the city.
You follow then the RAVeL, the network of Belgian cycle paths, and arrive in Hotton where you will be amazed by the underground world of the caves. Ride at your own pace on the countryside roads of the Ardennes and discover charming hamlets such as Ny. Durbuy, "the smallest city of the world" awaits you for a gourmet getaway.

Day 4 |

|
"Tout ce qui est petit est mignon": This French proverb means "everything small is beautiful" and you can check it by yourself with the visit of Durbuy. Ready for a small stroll into the topiary garden or into the labyrinth of Barvaux? Unless you prefer to wander into the lively city-center? You will be spoilt for choice!
Ride through the countryside and reach Modave with its castle and its French garden, perfect for a relaxing time.
You will then follow a magnificient cycle path up to Huy where you will meet again the Meuse river. Do not hesitate to visit the impressive fort reconverted into a remembrance place of WWII, explore the animal park of Mont Mosan or find out about the wall of Huy, famous for being part of "La Flèche wallonne" professional cycling race.

Day 5 |

|
Today’s ride is mostly along the Meuse river where you will enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the surroundings. Make a stop in Andenne, a city well-known for its carnaval of bears and do not miss the visit of Scladina caves and the museum of Ceramics. Discover the folklore and the culinary traditions of the region such as « matoufet » or « peket », a beverage made from juniper.
You continue your ride onto the cycle path along the Meuse and reach Namur, the capital of Wallonia, at the confluence with the Sambre and the Meuse rivers.

Day 6 |
|
|
|
After an unavoidable stop at the Vauban Citadel, the symbol of the city of Namur, you follow the Meuse river and will experience a lot of nice surprises. In Wépion, learn about the history of the strawberry, a fruit cherished by both adults and children.
As you ride along the river, you will be amazed by the magnifient landscapes. Look up to the sky and see some hand-gliders jumping from the point of view of "Seven Meuses". On your way, do not miss the water garden of Annevoie with a mix of French, English and Italian styles!
In Anhée, you can follow a side trip leading you to the abbey of Maredsous and the one of Madret and enjoy the well-known beers and cheeses of the region. You ride back to Dinant and finish this adventure. Unless you decide to extend your stay?

Bikes
On your arrival day, we provide you with:
- a touring bike 6 gears or a mountain bike adjusted to your size
-
equipped : front rack pack with an integrated file compartment, saddlebag, helmet (on demand), reflective vest, repairing toolkit with patches etc. If you chose a mountain bike,
please note that there are neither saddlebags nor front rack pack. In this case, we advise you to choose the luggage transfer option.
We also provide you with the appropriate equipment for your children :
baby seat, bike trailer or trailer bike depending on their age and size.
Electric bikes are also available for adults (+1m55).
Luggage
For this trip, bikes are equipped with
2 waterproof saddle bags with a capacity of 10 to 20L each to transport your luggage (not available for moutain bikes). Do not forget to put
your items in a soft travel bag to be able that you can roll it up in your saddle bags.

add luggage transport in your booking:

- We transport your luggage from one accommodation to the next using a private vehicle.
- Your luggage is directly delivered in your accommodation before you arrive.
- For touring bikes, we provide a saddlebag for the things you shall need during the day.(included in your bike rental)
Travel documents
A cycling holiday is the best way to explore a region and discover its culture, landscapes and local traditions.
Your tour is self-guided to give you the freedom to ride at your own pace. You will be provided all the information you need to enjoy the itinerary and its points of interests.
We can provide you with travel documents in paper format (for a supplement of €15 for printing and postage), which include:
- a roadbook with maps that we drew at the easiest scale to follow on a bike
- a roadbook with step-by-step description giving the direction to follow at each intersection and highlighting the points of interest

Our GPS App
For this trip, you can also use our smartphone app featuring GPS guidance (without extra fee).
You will find in the app all the information given in the map and step-by-step roadbooks. You will be located on the itinerary with the GPS device of your phone. The route and directions to
follow will be both viewable on the screen of your phone and announced aloud. As you ride along the itinerary, you will be given information about visits, restaurants, services and
useful alerts on the way.
