Luggage
For this trip, bikes are equipped with 2 waterproof saddle bags with a capacity of 10 to 20L each to transport your luggage. Do not forget to put your items in a soft travel bag to be able that you can roll it up in your saddle bags.

Our word of advice : as we know from experience, we strongly recommend you to avoid wearing a backpack during your cycling trip.

For this short trip your travel documents will be sent electronically.
Our GPS App
For this trip, you can also use our smartphone app featuring GPS guidance (without extra fee).
You will find in the app all the information given in the map and step-by-step roadbooks. You will be located on the itinerary with the GPS device of your phone. The route and directions to
follow will be both viewable on the screen of your phone and announced aloud. As you ride along the itinerary, you will be given information about visits, restaurants, services and
useful alerts on the way.

To get to departure point:
Parking
If you drive to Rennes, you can park your car in a secured car park located in the city center. The weekly rate is about €25. All details will be given in your travel documents.
To get back to starting point:
Regional trains take you back to your starting point if you wish. They are accessible without booking in advance and bicycles are free. You have to buy your ticket on spot (approximative
duration: 1h, full rate 9€/adult). There are several trains per day. You will find the timetable in your travel documents.
You can also depart directly in TGV from Saint-Malo.
Meeting time:
You pick up your bikes in the morning between 9.30am and 12.30pm at a meeting time set together during booking. We recommend you to arrive around 10am to enjoy your day fully without
rushing.
Bikes pick up point and luggage drop off point will be given in your travel documents.

Itinéraire très agréable au calme le long du canal pendant presque tout le trajet.
Nous avons pu visiter Rennes, Dinan, Dinard, St Malo et je recommande aussi le petit village de Léhon juste avant Dinan qui est vraiment charmant.

Au fil du canal, tout à fait praticable, des changements à peine perceptibles du paysage, tout au long du parcours nous ont fait découvrir ds tas de facettes du canal et de cette partie de la Bretagne. Très agréable randonnée de Rennes à Dianar au bord du canal d’île et Rance très bien aménagé et entretenu par le Conseil Régional de Bretagne et qui se termine sur une voie verte, ancienne voie de chemin de fer. Le parcours accessible avec des étapes bien construites avec des points d’étape à Hédé et Dinan. Came et sérénité tout au long du parcours, ombragé en grande partie sans empêcher de profiter du soleil. Une cheminement entretenu et équipé par le Conseil Régional de Bretagne avec de nombreux équipements pour les piques niques. On a vraiment bien aimé et on recommande !

Nous avons fait Rennes-Saint-Malo, avec la formule hôtel et transports de bagages. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces 3 jours un peu hors du temps. Partis début septembre, nous avons eu beau temps pendant tout le voyage, et il n'y avait pas non plus trop de monde, ce qui était appréciable.
Le parcours proposé est plutôt facile (pas de grosses montées, hormis vers les hôtels ^^), et il est aussi très agréable : le long du canal les 2 premiers jours (bien ombragé), puis sur une voie sécurisée au milieu des champs le dernier jour. Ce parcours nous a aussi semblé bien découpé sur les 3 jours (45 km, 38, puis 25) - je précise que nous ne sommes pas particulièrement sportifs; habituellement nous faisons juste nos trajets en ville à vélo, mais n'avions jamais fait de vraie "randonnée" à vélo : nous voulions justement découvrir ce principe. Nous sommes conquis, et prêts à voler de nos propres ailes pour nos prochaines expéditions :)
Concernant les hôtels, ils étaient pleins de charme, et leurs gérants étaient très sympathiques. Seul bémol, leur accessibilité à vélo : une grande descente "tout terrain" pour le 1er, et une grosse montée pour le 2nd. Heureusement, à chaque fois ça valait le coup :)

Nous avons fait le parcours Rennes Saint-Malo avec la boucle Cancale. L'équipe a été diligente et souple pour l'élaboration du devis. Puis tout s'est passé comme prévu : livraison ponctuelle des vélos, explications au moment du départ, tout le matériel y était, les hôtels étaient bien avec un personnel super gentil - un de nous a été malade, l'équipe a apporté son vélo en cours d'étape.
Nous étions partie avec une autre association l'année précédente qui nous avait livré des vélos d'une qualité supérieure mais pour un prix également supérieur. Donc bon rapport qualité/prix avec le vélo voyageur.

Nous avons fait le circuit Rennes - Saint Malo cet été. Nous avions pris une nuit avant le circuit à Rennes et la demi pension. Nous avons été déçu par aucun hôtel et restaurant. Chaque hôtel était confortable avec un bon accueil. Chaque restaurant était très bon et bien copieux. Les vélos nous ont été livrés directement à l’hôtel à Rennes. Le parcours est magnifique. Nous avons adoré pédaler le long du canal. J'avais peur de ne pas avoir le niveau et l'endurance, mais ça c'est très bien passé ! C'est une expérience définitivement à faire et à refaire !
