This cycling tour in South Britanny will show you the beauty of the wild Atlantic Coast. You will discover the traditionnal village of Erdeven, the river of Etel but also St Cado Island. On your way, you will pass through the standing stones (menhirs) until you reach Carnac and its amazing "alignment of Carnac". Hop from the beautiful peninsula of Quiberon to Belle Ile en Mer island and enjoy the magic of the Atlantic ocean.
On this tour, you will ride on cyclable paths and small countryside roads. You will pass through a lot of small Breton villages.

Our word of advice : as we know from experience, we strongly recommend you to avoid wearing a backpack during your cycling trip.
If you expect to arrive at the next accommodation before 5 p.m., we recommend that you take an extra set of clothes with you in your bicycle bag.

A cycling holiday is the best way to explore a region and discover its culture, landscapes and local traditions.
Your tour is self-guided to give you the freedom to ride at your own pace. You will be provided all the information you need to enjoy the itinerary and its points of interests.
We can provide you with travel documents in paper format (for a supplement of €15 for printing and postage), which include:

Our GPS App
For this trip, you can also use our smartphone app featuring GPS guidance (without extra fee).
You will find in the app all the information given in the map and step-by-step roadbooks. You will be located on the itinerary with the GPS device of your phone. The route and directions to
follow will be both viewable on the screen of your phone and announced aloud. As you ride along the itinerary, you will be given information about visits, restaurants, services and
useful alerts on the way.
-> You need to have a smartphone and download Le Velo Voyageur app on your Apple or Android store before the trip. All details concerning the downloading and the use of the application will
be given after we have confirmed the booking and the balance is paid. Once the trip is downloaded, the GPS guidance can be used off-line.

Meeting time:
The first day is an arrival day without cycling. You arrive whenever you want depending on from where you come. Please note that rooms are usually available in the middle of the afternoon depending on your accommodation. We thank you to advise us if you plan to arrive late.

The trip was well planned and the landscape was very nice for bicycle use. The provided bikes were outdated and its use challenging.
I can really recommend the trip but would suggest the use of own bikes or to rent bikes locally, when your could check the them.

Magnifiques paysages de mer et jolis villages bretons traversés, sites remarquables de menhirs et dolmen. Nombreux chemins réservés au vélo. La visite de Belle-Île-en-Mer est tres vallonnée et nous avons bien fait d’echanger nos velos pour des électriques.
La Pointe de Poulains , les aiguilles de port Coton et la côte sauvage nous ont émerveillés.

The route was beautiful, the scenery of the land in combination with the sea was great. We really enjoyed the variation between cycling days and rest days. On the second day we had a puncture, but Le Vélo Voyageur were very quick to respond and arrange for the tire to be changed at a local bike shop.

Tout est dans le titre. Que les voyageurs ne s'inquietent pas s'ils tombent sur un chemin de foret inondé avec une grosse flaque dans les 10 premieres minutes de l'itineraire depuis Erdeven. L'obstacle peut etre franchi en direct pour les plus téméraires, avec risque de mouiller les souliers, ou contourné par le pré sur la gauche a condition de passer un peu dans les ronces. Une fois la premiere grosse flaque passée l'itinéraire est praticable sans aucune difficulté, et les circuits des autres jours ne reservent pas de mauvaise surprise.

Eine wunderschöne Tour. Alles war von den Veranstalterinnen bestens vorbereitet und hat prima geklappt.
Vor allem die Hotels in Quiberon und Le Palais waren sehr schön und das Essen dort war sehr gut.
Wir fanden es sehr angenehm, nicht jeden Tag das Hotel wechseln zu müssen.
